Revert "Permission change causes new test failure"

This reverts commit f701dcb4.
Correcting view-related tests using a deprecated test API that triggered the issue.
Pending inclusion of https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins-test-harness/pull/329 into core,
some other tests in this package will print harmless stack traces.
